Dr. Elisio Alves Pereira Neto is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy with a profile hosted in the College of Health at Adelaide University. He earned a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the Federal University of Paraiba, Brazil, in 2015, a Master of Science in Physical Education from the same institution in 2018, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2022. Since graduating, he has worked as a registered physiotherapist, providing assessment and treatment for people with cardiorespiratory conditions in hospitals and outpatient services in private practices in Australia and Brazil.
Dr. Pereira Neto currently holds the position of Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University and serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Allied Health and Human Performance at the University of South Australia. His research specializations involve investigating novel exercise modalities to improve the health and wellbeing of different populations, with a focus on individuals with cardiorespiratory conditions and their access to pulmonary rehabilitation.
