Dũng Trần is an Honorary Associate Professor in the Macquarie School of Education at Macquarie University. He previously served as a senior lecturer in mathematics and STEM education within the same school. Dr. Trần's research focuses on designing and implementing curricular materials to improve students' mathematical literacy and their abilities to use mathematics and statistics functionally and critically in home, civic, and work life. His work involves analyzing and developing curriculum at middle and high school levels, conducting clinical interviews with elementary children, and investigating quantitative and qualitative data.
