Dr. Deepti Jain serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. She earned her B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics from Zakir Hussain College, University of Delhi in 2001, followed by an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Delhi in 2003, where she was a Gold Medalist. She completed an M.Phil in Mathematics at the University of Delhi in 2005 with a thesis on the spectral properties of tridiagonal operators and received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Delhi in 2019 for her work on 2-point set domination and graphoidal domination in graphs.
Her primary area of specialization is graph theory. Dr. Jain has taught courses including real analysis, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, discrete mathematics, and skill enhancement courses in LaTeX and HTML. She has held convener or member roles on several college administration committees and the Mathematics Association. Her key publications include collaborative works such as “On Graphs Whose Graphoidal Domination Number is One” (2015), “Global 2-Point Set Domination Number of a Graph” (2016), “2-Point Set Domination Number of a Cactus” (2016), “Minimal 2-Point Set Dominating Sets of a Graph” (2017), “Independent 2-Point Set Domination in Graphs” (2017), and “Bounds on 2-Point Set Domination Number of a Graph” (2018).
