Professor Clare Gallon serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences within the University of Exeter Medical School. She holds the position of Director of Education and Student Experience for Undergraduate Biomedical Sciences, contributing significantly to the leadership team and undergraduate programs in the department. Gallon earned her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham in 2014 and a degree in Medical Biochemistry from the same university in 2001. Gallon's research specializations encompass skeletal muscle physiology, contractile proteins, cardiomyopathies, muscle biology, muscle contraction, and muscle proteins.
