At Otago, Disability Information and Support proved invaluable, offering student advisor advocacy for timetabling and assessments, notetaking services to focus on lectures, and shared housing with peers providing camaraderie. She advocates for lecturers to inform students of supports from the first lecture and encourages inquiring about accommodations.
