Catherine Leighton

Catherine Leighton is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Organisations at the UWA Business School, University of Western Australia, a position she has held since August 1999. She earned a Bachelor of Psychology (BPsych), Master of Psychology (MPsych), and PhD. Her research specializations encompass organizational psychology and management topics, including workplace emotion regulation, gamification's role in enhancing intrinsic motivation, negotiation behaviour, workplace bullying acceptability across cultures, ethical attitudes influenced by generational and gender factors, organizational commitment, leader behaviours, and HR analytics.
