These official unit guides detail her role in delivering content on the foundational value of marketing, the evolution of marketing concepts, identification of global market opportunities, and development of strategies for international market entry and expansion. Additionally, Dr Osborne coordinates BUS350 Strategic Marketing, for which she originally authored the unit guide in January 2017. This guide outlines comprehensive coverage of strategic marketing management, including planning processes, competitive analysis, and decision-making frameworks essential for business professionals. Her teaching responsibilities span both Perth and Dubai campuses, where she provides direct academic support to students via listed contact details: email c.osborne@murdoch.edu.au and phone +61 8 9360 6684.
Dr Osborne has contributed significantly to marketing education through authorship of the third edition of the textbook Marketing Strategy: A Decision-Focused Approach, published by McGraw-Hill Education Australia in 2015. Co-authored with Orville C. Walker, John W. Mullins, Felix T. Mavondo, John Gountas, and Anton Kriz, the book emphasizes practical, decision-oriented approaches to formulating and implementing marketing strategies. Furthermore, she participates in higher-degree research supervision, serving as a supervisor for Bibi Quartey Dedzo's Doctor of Philosophy thesis entitled A Theoretical Model of Authentic Leadership for Emerging Business Leaders in Ghana, completed and awarded by Murdoch University in 2022, in collaboration with Leland Entrekin. These academic appointments underscore her established role in marketing pedagogy and business leadership research at Murdoch University.
