Brian Stephanik has instructed multiple sections of core physics courses at Bellevue College, especially during online delivery periods. In Fall 2021, he taught PHYS& 114 General Physics I Section A, PHYS 122 General Engineering Physics II Section B, and PHYS 123 General Engineering Physics III Section A. These were largely asynchronous courses with pre-recorded lectures released daily or weekly using Panopto. Live office hours were held via Zoom, exams occurred during official time slots requiring availability for at least three midterms and a final, and lab rental kits were required from the BC bookstore. He recommended a reliable study schedule of about three hours per day dedicated to physics. In Winter 2021, he taught PHYS 121 General Engineering Physics I Sections C and D, and PHYS 122 Section A, following the same asynchronous format with Panopto lectures, Zoom office hours, proctored exams, lab kits, and emphasis on consistent study habits. During Spring 2021, his courses included PHYS 121 Section F, and PHYS 123 Sections C and D, again asynchronous with pre-recorded content, optional Zoom office hours, scheduled exams, required lab kits, and guidance for maintaining pace through regular study.
