Rate My Professor Bessy Cruz

Bessy Cruz is a professor in the Business & Economics faculty at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH), serving in the Carrera de Mercadotecnia within the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas, Administrativas y Contables. She holds the title of Licenciada and is recognized for her contributions to teaching and student engagement through practical marketing applications. In 2018, Bessy Cruz acted as coordinadora del comité de orientación de la carrera de Mercadotecnia. She has actively participated in numerous educational events, including delivering a presentation as conferencista at a UNAH event in 2017. Her guidance has been instrumental in student-led initiatives such as the Feria Internacional de Marketing Turístico in 2019, where students from her Marketing Turístico course showcased international cultures. In 2023, as one of the organizers, she oversaw the Feria Cultural organized by the Carrera de Mercadotecnia, allowing students to practice marketing concepts in a real-world setting.

Bessy Cruz continued her involvement in hands-on learning projects, including the Feria Turística in 2024, aimed at promoting the Honduras country brand through tourism marketing, and the "Sombreros Locos" creativity activity for the Desarrollo de Productos course section 1200 in 2025. During the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas UNAH Navidad 2024 inauguration, her students sold various products as part of an academic exercise. In research, she co-authored the peer-reviewed article "Influencia publicitaria por redes sociales en las compras de consumidores jóvenes del Distrito Central, 2016," published in Revista Ciencia y Tecnología No. 22 in June 2018, with Sunee Eiamwasant and Berlín Cáceres. As beneficiaries of a basic scholarship from the Dirección de Investigación Científica y Posgrado (DICYP), the study analyzed the impact of social media advertising on young consumers' buying behavior.
