Bailey Sprosen serves as Senior Analyst in the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) within the Transformation and Improvement division of the Operations Group at the University of Otago, located at 62 Albany Street, Dunedin. The EPMO, established in 2018, received the PMO of the Year award at the Project Management Institute New Zealand 2024 awards. This award acknowledged the office's strong focus on ensuring projects deliver expected benefits, active development of benefits realisation practices, comprehensive coverage of project management services, and a well-considered long-term approach to developing capability and maturity. An independent review confirmed the EPMO achieved high maturity levels in 3.5 years, surpassing the global benchmark of 6-8 years. The award was accepted by EPMO Head Pepijn Wyffels on behalf of present and past staff members, including Bailey Sprosen.
Bailey Sprosen previously held the position of Administrator Client Services for the University of Otago's Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory reports in 2020 and 2021. In the 2020 report, images by Bailey Sprosen were used under a Creative Commons BY license. He also supports the Sustainability Office at the University of Otago, participating in fundraising for initiatives like those of the Malcam Charitable Trust to empower youth and advance sustainability efforts. His work supports the Operations Group's goals of enabling the university's vision, stakeholder engagement, and providing outstanding experiences through projects and transformational change.
