About Ashok

Dr. Ashok Prem serves as Associate Professor and IQAC Coordinator in the Faculty of Law and Arts at RNB Global University, Bikaner, where he also holds the position of Head of the School of Law. An experienced academician with over 13 years of teaching various subjects in law programs such as the five-year BA-LL.B., he has instructed at renowned institutes, colleges, and universities. His academic background includes an LL.B. from Maharaja Dasarath University (MDSU), an LL.M. in Constitutional Law from MDSU, and an LL.M. in Mercantile Law from Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU), all obtained from Government College, Bikaner. Dr. Prem has qualified UGC-NET and RPSC-SET in 2012 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at MGS University on the topic "Prevention of Money Laundering: Indian Initiative (A Juristic Dimension)".

In addition to his teaching career, Dr. Prem brings 16 years of practical experience as an advocate, including representing multinational corporations such as Sabmiller India Ltd. in Bengaluru. He has presented numerous research papers at national and international seminars on diverse legal topics and has authored publications such as “Clash on Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 & PMLA 2002” published in Research Analysis & Evaluation, and “Laws Relating to Money Laundering: A Critical Analysis” in International Research Mirror. Other contributions include co-authored works on topics like the generation and evolution of social media, witch hunting, right to life and denial of medical emergencies, and protests in the 21st century. Dr. Prem has been honored with the Gold Medal in Academic Excellence by Shodh Sagar in 2022 and the Outstanding Academician Award in the Faculty of Law and Arts by Scientific Laurels. He plays key roles in university governance, serving on the Internal Complaint Committee, as Liaison Officer for the SC-ST-OBC Cell, and on the Anti-Ragging Committee. Furthermore, he has organized national moot court competitions and conferences, such as the Seth Jagannath Bajaj Memorial National Moot Court, fostering practical legal skills among students.
