About Anupama K.

Dr. Anupama K. Malagi serves as Professor in the Department of Human Resource Management at RV Institute of Management, Bengaluru, where she also holds positions as IQAC Convenor, Coordinator of the Teaching Learning Centre, Centre for International Collaborations, and the Department of Human Resource Management. With over 24 years of teaching and administrative experience, her academic background includes a Ph.D. from Karnataka University, Dharwad; MBA in HR (Gold Medalist); M.A. and M.Phil. in Economics; B.Ed.; Postgraduate Diploma in Training and Development from ISTD; UGC NET; and B.Sc. Her research specializations encompass Human Resource Management, Economics, Industrial Relations, Organizational Behaviour, and Performance Management.

Dr. Malagi's scholarly contributions include publications such as "Consumer Awareness and Perception towards Electric Vehicles with Specific Reference to Bengaluru City" (Journal of Positive School Psychology, 2022), "Innovative HR practices to improve socio-economic conditions of women workers in garment industry-An Empirical Study" (IOSR Journal of Business and Management, 2013), "Malnutrition Among Selected Women Construction Workers in Bengaluru" (2024), and "Unlocking the Value of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management Through Effective Implementation and Usage" (2024). She has presented papers at national and international conferences and published in refereed journals. Among her accolades are the Best Professor in Human Resource Management from the World HRD Congress, Outstanding Women Leadership Award from the Bangalore Chamber of Industries and Commerce, and Emerging HRD Thinker’s Award from the Indian Society for Training and Development. A TEDx speaker, she has completed international certifications at institutions in the UK and Dubai, conducted consultancies including capacity building and academic audits, served as a resource person for faculty and student development programs, participated in global leadership conferences as a panel member, and is empanelled as an IQAC member at various reputed institutions.
