Mrs Angela Farley is a Lecturer in Medical Sonography in the School of Allied Health and Human Performance, College of Health, at Adelaide University. A seasoned Radiographer and Sonographer with over 20 years of industry experience in the medical imaging landscape, she has held positions as a Tutor Sonographer in rural Victoria and as an Academic and Course Coordinator in Medical Sonography at the University of South Australia, where she received recognition for sustained excellence in teaching. Farley recently completed a Master's study on the structure and function of jockeys' hearts. She contributes to high-quality clinical supervision and rural/remote sonography services while supporting the next generation of sonographers.
Farley's research interests include scan times and quality outcomes in sonography practice, second trimester singleton morphology sonography examinations, and sonographer training pathways. She is a key researcher on an ASA-funded project investigating scan times and quality outcomes across Australia.
