Alison Richardson is the Operations Lead at the Educational Assessment Research Unit (EARU) within the College of Education at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. In this capacity, she manages the operational aspects of EARU, a unit focused on educational assessment research. EARU undertakes projects that contribute to understanding student achievement and curriculum effectiveness in New Zealand schools. Alison Richardson also serves as the Operations Lead for Curriculum Insights, a large-scale longitudinal assessment study conducted by EARU in partnership with the New Zealand Council for Educational Research under contract to the Ministry of Education. This study tracks students' progress in the New Zealand Curriculum across English-medium state and state-integrated schools, generating data and insights to inform educational improvements.
