Alex Thorpe is the Event Specialist in the External Engagement team at the University of Otago Christchurch campus, which is part of the Division of Health Sciences. In this capacity, Alex manages the planning and execution of end-to-end events that predominantly have an external impact on the community. This includes high-profile initiatives such as the comprehensive series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the University of Otago's presence in Christchurch in 2023.
