AJ Woodhouse is the Kaiurungi Programme Manager for Coastal People: Southern Skies (CPSS), a national Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE) hosted by the University of Otago at 539 Castle Street, Dunedin. CPSS connects coastal heritage places, maintains longitudinal monitoring like the Southern (Otago) Moorings, advances restoration through initiatives such as Falafolaloa, trains students, researchers, and communities, and studies thermal regimes for climate change adaptation. Upholding kaitiakitanga and mana, it partners with coastal communities for mauri ora.
