Professor Abhijit Das is a seasoned academic with over 27 years of teaching experience in management education. He holds a B.Sc., an MBA in Marketing from MJP Rohilkhand University (1991-1993), and a Ph.D. in Marketing from MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (2008-2012). Currently serving as Professor at the Centre for Management Studies (CMS), Gitarattan International Business School (GIBS), Delhi, since June 2023, he specializes in Marketing and technology-enabled education. His previous appointments include Professor at IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad; ABES Engineering College (from 2017); Future Institute of Management Technology (from 2015); teaching roles at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (2022-2024); Deputy Director at Shri Siddhi Vinayak Institute of Management (2010-2012); and Dean at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (1998-2009).

Dr. Das serves as Editor of Anusandhan, the journal of GIBS, and acts as Innovation Ambassador, contributing to faculty development programs, research symposia, and workshops on AI tools in research, digital transformation, and innovation strategies. His research interests encompass artificial intelligence in higher education, human resource management, green innovations, and sustainable performance in MSMEs. Key publications include "Reimagining HR: The Role of AI and Automation in Shaping Tomorrow’s Workforce" (2025, Anusandhan, co-authored with Anupama Pandey); "Augmenting Learning with Artificial Intelligence: An Empirical Examination of Generative AI Tools and Student Outcomes in Higher Education" (2025, co-authored with Dr. Urvesh Chaudhery and Dr. Namrata Yadav Das); and "Role of Learning Orientation, Green Innovations, and Sustainable Performance in MSMEs" (co-authored with Abhilasha Singh). He has also contributed chapters on general management towards sustainable business, CSR, and agile practices. Additionally, he participates in international conferences such as ICEBTM 2025 and organizes events fostering entrepreneurship and research skills at GIBS.
