Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Quantum materials synthesis and crystal growth.
The post is available only for a fixed-term duration of 12 months
The core scientific aim of the project is to perform: new quantum materials synthesis and crystal growth; analysis of crystallographic and physical properties and understand and present the results. The successful candidate will undertake research in material synthesis to investigate the role of disorder in frustrated magnetism and spin liquids in rare earth transition metal oxides funded by an EPSRC grant led by Dr Dharmalingam Prabhakaran and topological quantum materials project supported by the ShanghaiTech-Oxford program led by Prof. Yulin Chen.
