We are looking for postdoctoral researchers, who will be reporting to Sam Staton, to investigate foundational aspects of probabilistic programming.
The appointee will develop foundational aspects of probabilistic programming, for example, developing category theoretic foundations for synthetic measure theory, or implementing advanced non-parametric models in a probabilistic programming setting. The exact scope of the research will depend on the skills and experience of the successful candidates.
Candidates should have a PhD (or be very near completion) in computer science or mathematics with a strong background in category theory and measure theory, evidenced by published papers that substantially use these methods.
