Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?
The Department of Neuroscience has the mission to conduct ground-breaking research on the nervous system. Our 35 research groups study the function of the nervous system in health and disease, at the molecular, cellular, and network level. We now intend to strengthen our research profile in sensory neurobiology, broadening our scientific portfolio to the study of developmental aspects as well as cellular and network organization of specific sensory systems using animal models. This will also provide an ideal complement to clinical research on sensory function currently carried out at Karolinska Institutet. We are in the new Biomedicum building, which hosts a multidisciplinary environment with five basic science departments and top-level core facilities.
