The Globe Institute at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen seeks to appoint a tenure track assistant professor in palaeoenvironmental microbics that might include themes within ancient ecogenomics, metagenomic bioinformatics and ancient DNA to commence as soon as possible.
Job description
We invite applications from candidates with research interests in microbial ancient ecogenomics, metagenomic computational analysis and ancient DNA. We are looking for a skilled computational scientist with an exciting and ambitious research programme focused on pushing the boundaries within microbial ancient genomics and computational metagenomics. Emphasis on human-environment interaction is desirable but not essential.
