For over 25 years, the Master of Science in Computational Finance (MSCF) program at Carnegie Mellon University (https://www.cmu.edu/mscf/) has been a leader in the training of professionals working in quantitative finance. The program’s coursework combines relevant material covering financial markets, mathematics, programming, and data science. Courses are taught by a combination of expert faculty from across CMU and industry practitioners. The MSCF program seeks to further expand its coverage of modern methods of data science, including machine learning, relevant to market-centered financial data. To meet this goal, the program is recruiting industry practitioners who can deliver courses that cover both the foundational and practical aspects of such methods.
