Position Description The lab of Dr. Joshua Thaler (https://depts.washington.edu/doce/our-research/researchprograms/thaler-laboratory) in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology, and Nutrition, Department of Medicine, seeks one postdoctoral fellow for research on CNS regulation of body weight and glucose homeostasis to begin immediately. This is a 12-month full-time position. Extension of the appointment is possible but subject to availability of funds. The base salary range for this position will be: $5,457 - $5,700 per month ($65,484 - $68,400 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Position Description The University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition (MET), is accepting applications for two (2) full-time faculty members based out of the University of Washington Medicine Diabetes Institute (UWMDI). These positions will be at the rank of Research Assistant Professor (non-tenure eligible). Research Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30).
