POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE ,  Civil and Environmental Engineering , to join the Terrer Lab.  One of the main messages emerging from COP26 was the commitment to stop carbon losses in forests, especially in the tropics. Forest loss is defined as the combination of deforestation and degradation.  The postdoc assuming this position will leverage Planet imagery and AI to monitor changes in carbon stocks in tropical forests due to deforestation and degradation.
