The Economics Department at UC San Diego is committed to building an excellent and diverse faculty, staff, and student body, and invites applications from candidates whose experience has prepared them to contribute to our commitment. The Department invites applications for Lecturer positions.
The Temporary Lecturer will teach courses such as "Economic Development" course (Econ 116), or other courses depending on the needs of the department. This lecturer will be introducing students to the economics of less developed countries, covering their international trade, human resources, urbanization, agriculture, income distribution, political economy, and environment. This lecturer will likely be teaching a few courses per week and will hold office hours for students.
