Students entering the MJ program initially enroll in two required courses: Law B505 Introduction to American Law and Law B550 American Legal System and Method. These courses provide an integrated introduction to the structure and principles of U.S. Law, the analytical and writing skills required for graduate students, and sources and techniques for basic legal research.
