Position Description
The Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Informatics (BNHI) department within the University of Washington School of Nursing invites applications for the position of Assistant Teaching Professor, Part-Time, 9-month appointment. The position includes teaching in both the undergraduate and graduate programs for content focused on acute medical-surgical and/or mental health nursing. Faculty work together in delivering both didactic and clinical content related to basic nursing skills in acute medical-surgical and/or mental health nursing, and in the graduate DNP program. This is a minimum 50% FTE, one-year appointment (renewable), not tenure eligible. FTE, determined annually, is based on teaching need in an individual’s area of expertise. Base salary will depend on qualifications, background, and experience. The base salary range for this position will be $9,200 - $9,700 per month based on 100% FTE.
