Join Stuart Kollmorgen University, where innovation meets tradition, offering a vibrant work culture, extensive research opportunities, and comprehensive employee benefits designed to foster professional growth and personal well-being.
An esteemed lecturer in Law of Employment at Monash and have a sessional academic role at QUT in Workplace Law. I am also a workplace lawyer, advocate, investigator and consultant HR project leader.
For the past 7 years, I have enjoyed in-house HR Legal Project roles, dealing with organisational employment issues (underpayment, reward, restraint, flexibility, mobility and transfer, mergers and divestments), disputes and workplace relations. Multidisciplinary team work, advising on wage, modern award, enterprise agreement, superannuation and employment taxes in heavily-regulated environments.
In these roles working with People & Culture, HR, Legal, Talent, People Advisory, Diversity and Org Design teams, I have leveraged my 15 years’ hands-on employment law practice as a partner and leader at Norton Rose Fulbright, which was focused on:
- the people and culture aspects of workplace change,
- litigation management and advocacy for employer clients particularly general protections,
- negotiated separations,
- remuneration and benefits including Corporations Act compliance,
- investigations,
- restructuring,
- redundancy rounds,
- transfer of business,
- enterprise bargaining, and
- industrial relations.
I have acted for many of Australia’s largest companies, devised strategies, coached managers and executives, and conducted training in the areas of whistleblowing, remuneration design, IT use, work and family, surveillance, equal opportunity, sexual harassment, outsourcing and workplace privacy.
I enjoy project-based or medium-term consulting roles that are purposeful and busy. I am happy to work autonomously or as part of a team with Legal and/or HR. I have recently reskilled, with Leadership-Coaching, Positive Psychology and Wellbeing, Agile Scrum Master and Prince2 2017 Project Management qualifications.
