History

RMIT University was established in 1887 as the Working Men’s College with the aim of bringing education to the working people of Melbourne. In 1934, it was renamed the Melbourne Technical College and later became the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 1960.

Campuses

RMIT University has three campuses in Melbourne: the City campus, Brunswick campus, and Bundoora campus. It also has campuses in Vietnam and Singapore.
