This position will be responsible for assisting all departments with the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of employees. The Human Resources/Talent Specialist will help implement and coordinate innovative and transformative engagement with our campus community, directly supporting the vision and goals of the University's Division of Talent Community.
Essential Responsibilities:
Receive and process vacancy requests from hiring departments.
Manage job postings on the UE website and third-party sites.
Build relationships with local career development professionals and high school trade programs.
Attend career fairs.
Receive and screen employment applications.
Conduct screening interviews and send recommendations for follow up interviews to hiring departments.
Serve on search committees, as needed.
